A/V Geeks

Shows two boys’ ideas of good sandwiches in contrast with the more attractive tuna rarebit sandwiches (ick!) which a young girl prepares for her guests. “Gasco” is, of course, short for “Gas Company” who proudly sponsor this film.

This film is available on the 1950 DVD-R

The Story (AIMS, 1969)

This film is narrated by a young Matt Groening and is directed by his father, Homer Groening. Matt tells his little sister Maggie a bedtime-story about the various animals he and his other sister Lisa meet on a walk. His story is spontaneous and is in the folk-style of “There Was An Old Lady Who Sat On A Fly”, plus- young Matt does not yet realize a “Geoduck” is a clam!

This film is available on the Best of A/V Geeks 2 DVD-R
