The A/V Geeks have been chugging along digitizing thousands of TV commercials held at Duke University’s Hartman Center for Advertising. We’ve done 6000 so far! Another couple thousand are online for your viewing pleasure! You can watch them online at this awesome site – adViews. You will need iTunes to view and download the commercials – although the content is free. Tell your friends!

Aurora welcomes back Skip Elsheimer from A/V Geeks with 16mm school films that show little girls can be just as delinquent as their male counterparts in films, That’s Stealing, All My Tomorrows, Fur Coat Club and more! Hosted by the fine folks at Aurora Picture Show. A/V Geeks presents a family friendly screening event about arts and crafts at the Hits Theatre in the Heights. Come learn about the art of the craft from the 1950s with fun film titles including At Your Fingertips: Boxes, Rag Tapestry and Puppets. After the screening join in for your own crafting fun experience. The Contemporary Arts Museum’s Teen Council will help kids make their own fun crafts after the show.
