Benevolent aliens from the planet Emerald send superhero-in-tights Starman to protect Earth from invasion by an evil alien race called the Spherions. When Starman arrives on Earth, he discovers a conspiracy involving Earth’s top scientists, and he must root out the traitors and also stop the impending alien invasion. This film had probably the best fight scene ever filmed. Towards the end of the film there was ten minutes of Starman doing somersaults, beating up bad guys, kicking and throwing bodies upstairs, shooting them with their own guns, and flexing his arm muscles as seen above in the picture. Brilliant!
