The A/V Geeks will screening some films about smashing things and anti-shopping in response to Black Friday. Durham’s awesome Scrap Exchange will be open on Friday for their very own Black Friday celebration — Smashfest! Come on out for some fun with metal bands, the opening of their Take-Apart Station, a mosaic hands-on, and the main event … you can buy some breakable items (ceramics, plates, bric-a-brac, etc.) and SMASH them … in a safe and respectful manner of course! A great way to have fun, get some of your holiday ya ya’s out, and celebrate the season, Scrap Exchange style. FREE!
