How Do You Know It’s Love? (1950)

The title of this film is a question all boys and girls must face usually under circumstances that make clear thinking difficult. Research studies indicate that most persons fall in love several times, and sometimes one may be in love with more than one person at the same time. The idea that instinct or some innate awareness will answer this question does not seem adequate. A young couple, apparently in love, double date with the boy’s older brother and his fiance and find that there are many things that indicate mature love. Things such as similar interests, feeling at ease with one another, being proud of each other and then a mutual understanding of children, religion, marriage and money are all a part of mature love.
