This film was made to recruit Mormon members to become home teachers – members who make monthly visits the homes of Mormon families to teach scripture and to keep them attending church. We see successful businessman Dave slowly turns each member of an indifferent Mormon family into model members. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints made many such films for their members – illustrating the importance following and teaching Mormon doctrines.
