Walter J. Klein Company, Ltd Screenings

Who in his right professional mind would accept an assignment to cover a 4,000 mile stock car competition for four days and nights in East Africa and do it with four people?”

Join us in a retrospective screening celebrating the groundbreaking career of North Carolina’s own educational film dynasty – the Klein family.

This program features a selection of sponsored and educational films from the $25-million dollar film and video archive donated by the Kleins to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1999. This collection spans almost half a century of innovative work in advertising, production and distribution, and includes films that were later shown in schools, churches, community centers, tourism sites and television.

Several members of the Klein family will be available for questions following the screenings. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is free.
