Mother Mack’s Puppies Find Happy Homes (1953)

This film is about a mother dog, Mother Mack, and her seven puppies who are six weeks old and ready to leave for new homes. The puppies are trained to be well-behaved and brave by the owners. The puppies are given the right food to make them strong and healthy, and they eat three meals a day. A neighbor, Mr. Conover, comes to choose one of the puppies, but they are not well-groomed. The boys try to show Mr. Conover the good points of each puppy, and he chooses Tammy, who likes him right away. Tammy is a little homesick at first, but soon becomes happy in his new home with the Conovers and their cat, Anna. Later, other puppies are chosen by different families, and they all find happy homes with love and care.
